Maria joined Erevena in 2012 and is a Senior Partner with over eighteen years of experience in executive search. Every time she writes that sentence she feels very old!
Maria specialises in digital business models and digital transformation across VC, PE and corporates. She also leads Erevena’s Board practice group. Areas of expertise include FinTech, Marketplaces, Health and Education. She has deep experience across a range of functions, particularly in General Management/Operations, Marketing, and Product.
Previously, Maria was a Director at The Cornell Partnership, which supported high achieving graduates through their early career moves. Prior to this, she worked for MWM Consulting, a leading Board Practice Group on FTSE 100 Chair and NED appointments.
She graduated from Cambridge University with a MA in History. Maria is a mum of one and spends a lot of time at toddler birthday parties! She is an avid traveller, music fan and cook. When she has spare time (not often!) she can be found at dance classes or indulging in bad karaoke. Maria is very keen to support SWISH to help drive inclusion in executive search. She believes passionately that the workplace should be flexible and accommodating to everyone. Women should be able to succeed on their own terms, and she hopes that bringing together a wide range of mentors and peers who have made different choices will support others in carving their own path through this industry.
